This is something I penned in the middle of crisis I was having with a very good friend of mine.
This whole existence,
I drift by seemingly unphased,
By all this turmoil,
Trying not to blame them for how I was raised.
This path I’ve chosen,
Has made me fall,
Over every single mistake
And misjudgment that I can recall.
No one wants to know / how much I’m incomplete / I am looking for my way / tripping over my own feet / Cause this hole inside / will never be filled / unless you realize how much of me you have killed.
My dirty face bares no smile,
I am torn inside this hell of mine,
Scratching at the surface
And wishing for a sign.
I’m holding onto this feeling,
Never wanting to forget,
All the times we laughed,
But all I feel is regret.
Cause this hole inside / will never be filled / unless you realize how much of me you have killed
So go on now,
Forget my emotion.
Pouring off my lashes,
In slow motion.
Life is but a still frame,
Lingering on what seems like for ever,
I’m holding onto the present,
My future not following whatsoever.
You killed me / and all that I stood for / You took your time as you broke me down / Where is this courage I still have not found? / I’ve deleted you / Out of my existence / One click two click / You’ll be gone without a sound.
You touch on many issues and bring them to light in a very interesting manner.....
Be always safe,
Karen
