The Delirious Poet
Have you heard the rumors yet?
They say that I am a poet!
I think they are going mad ...
Me, a poet? Now, that’s a crazy notion!
Don't they know that I simply
write the verses that you inspire in me?
Verses that emerge from my soul,
Verses that bring me closer to you.
Me, a poet? They are crazy… Crazy, I tell you!
But what man, after having seen your beauty,
would not be inspired to write you a poem,
when you're a Venus among women?
Tell them that you are my inspiration;
the masterpiece of God on earth,
and because of that, because of it….
I write these poems for you.
Tell them that I have found in you
a love much greater than heaven’s,
and that I shall live forever through
these… my poems of love.
Have you heard the rumors of the people...?
They claim that I’m a mad poet
living hopelessly in love with you,
in a world they call delirium!

I like the feeling of the poemization in "The Delirious Poet".
I salute You, Poet.
