Trial of the Truth Surrounded by the sons of the dark The lawless ruling this forged court Whose lost souls bear evil’s mark Certifying that justice is ignored While Truth sits silent and serene Awaiting proclamation of a verdict Based on lies and evidence unseen Attempting to resolve the conflict Between the treacherous and true That resides within me and you The court’s ruling was set before This counterfeit tribunal begun Warily devised to harshly gore At all clarity beneath the sun The law of man is but a sword In the homicidal hands of evil Gathered in this sinister court Impatient to mercilessly fulfill Prophecies of an ancient past To satisfy evil’s ravenous zest With cuffed hands and feet Truth was summoned to rise To hear the sentence decreed Conjured by hate and despise Seeing how prosecutors raged Spilling their odium all over Truth Leaping like a monster uncaged Fuming like an unforgiving sleuth ‘How do you plead, miserable fool?
