There’s something Amiss
In the way we communicate


Poem Artwork

 I’ve loved and lost

I’ve felt the pain
I’m not afraid of
Starting all over again
Push me too far
I may just break
Remember in life
There’s give and take
My spirit is strong
I may be wrong
But there’s something
That feels not right
In my mind
Tonight
My heart rules
Emotion
My brain senses
Commotion
Our Love does
Cross continents
The abyss
That’s Ocean
The Dessert
That’s dry
A tear I may cry
But I will never
Wonder why
The Truth
Is my teacher
And Love
Is my preacher
Life is the taker
Lest you forsake her
I will not just lay down 
And die

I totally relate to this except for me it is "unless you forsake him." Also, you meant to write "desert" unless you mean to eat some kind of lovely dessert. I wish you love and happiness, Andrea. Believe me, as I have stated already, I can relate. Read my latest poems. Love and best wishes,
