When the way gets weary and you
feel all aone-
Hold the hand of Jesus - your
troubles will be gone.
When tear's full your eyes and
you are in despair-
Hold the hand of Jesus, He
will always be there!

When you have a test at school-
you have studied all you can.
Bow you head in prayer-
Hold on to Jesus's hand.
When that friend has betrayed you-
you feel hurt and cast away-
Hold on Jesus's hand...He will gently
pave the way.

When your trials and temptations
seem more than you can bear-
Hold on to Jesus's hand .. He will
lift your every care.
When the cross gets , Oh, so heavy-
and the way seems so long-
Hold on to Jesus's hand , my friend,
His strength will make you strong!
