A man who loses everything and gives up is sometimes seen as worthless to others. This is a peom expressing the deep sadness I have for those who feel that way.

The Wanderer

He walks

He treks across the rough terrain

Never to be heard of again

The concrete pounds against his feet

No more people left to meet

With no thought of his demise

All those laugh at his disguise

This is really all it seems

His eyes sparkle and smile beams

But no it’s really what life does

People poke fun just because

This is a message to all who smirk

Empathy shant take lots of work

Beside Still Waters by Jill Eisnaugle

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
