The spotlight is a place the majority of us avoid at the risk of embarrassment, and sometimes the only place you can go to find yourself.

Did you see ME while I was smiling

Up high...Soaring

Through the Spectrum Sounds of time?

 

Did you hear ME while I was singing

The music...locked within?

The surprise was mostly mine!

 

Did you see ME behind the mirror

...Dancing in this dream...

Remembering younger days gone by?

 

Is anyone listening?

Can anyone hear me?

Testing... Testing...

Am I on?

Valerie, I can so relate to your poem..Sometimes I feel invisible and sometimes that is a good thing to be.
