Drunk Again

Tonight the day
had done it's damage,
I cried and you said I was angry
I said look at me,
this is disappointment,

You lay in bed drinking
beer and whiskey
instead of going up on the mountain
to witness the huge red ball going
gloriously down
on our love.

I suppose that I'd like to hear more about the 'day' and the events that 'led' to the drinking in bed that evening. Other than that, I like it, it sounds like my ex. ASSHOLE!
