Sometimes we have to step back to see where we have been in order to see where we are going.Depression can be a tough thing to overcome.

Driving in Circles

Words taken from the song "Driving in Cirles" by Jim Stewart c 1992

I called up an old friend of mine

Just to see where he had been.

He said, "I've been down that road once or twice

But, I'm on the road again.

I guess I'm driving in circles

Driving in circles again

Yeah, I'm driving in circles

And I'm on the road again.

I got out to ask directions

To a place wher nobody had been

I went back to my car

Now I'm on the road again

Seems like I'm driving in circles

Driving in circles again

Yeah, I'm driving in circles

Back on the road I go again

I pulled off to the side of the road

To look at my highway docterine

It only showed me wher I was at

And where the hell I had been

Driving in circles

Yeah I'm driving in circles again

Jim, I liked the metaphor you used here to get your point across, I believe we all drive in circles many times in this life. I found myself singing this and thought this would make a nice country song. I liked it!

Sort of like spinning wheels, but at the point of recognition, knowing when to change, well expressed...

Be always safe,
