We were just kids
Doing what kids do
Getting dirty-
Falling down-
Acting like clowns too-
One day we stood
In front of a neighbor's
Picture window
No one was home
A boy we hung
Out with
Made a dare
"I dare one of you
To break this window
With this broom"
I declined, but
My sister did not
She took that broom
And swung it hard
And if my memory
Is correct, it took
More than once
Window was thermapane
She was no more
Than five
I was six
I can still hear
The crash of the glass,
But more than that
I was astounded
What my baby sister
Had done...
Guess who ran home
And tattletailed.. .. ..the end

Ah, I have similar stories in my dubious past...I tattle taled too, but was not believed, and made to apologize :). You have a knack for telling stories that everyone can identify with. A true gift!
Cute story...it is funny how little episodes of our childhood although frowned upon perhaps by our elders at the time, go on to become favored shared family memories.

This is a wonderfully performed 7 CD Children's audio book, made up of three books from the "Run, Rasputin. Run!" series of books. Expertly narrated by Pat Fraley. Your entire family will enjoy these exceptional tales!
