Breaking up hurts

Cool afternoon, Sunlit sky Filtered by flittering clouds Blue lake Slight breeze Rippled water Distorted watery images Life hurts Sad faces Tears fall Stained cheeks cringe Anger builds Angry words Shouted out Beside the lake so blue Love dies Rippled water Swallows all Gold band makes wakes Sucked down Cool afternoon Sunlit sky Blurred by falling tears It�s over. � copyright 2004 Sherry Gibson

Touching and haunting.
