You opened your magic potion Poured me a glass of wine I drank your glass of poison Intoxicated by your lies I consumed your glass of magic Savoring every drop Enjoying your magic touch Believing this was real Black Magic Lover You pulled me to your web Wrapped me in your deceit Made me feel complete Magic in your touch Set my soul on fire Content to be in your web Caught up in your desire You became my savior You became my world Pouring out your poison To qench my burning fire Blinded and deaf To all the lies you told Black Magic Lover I let you steal my soul. � Copyright 2005 Sherry L Gibson. I guess that's why it's been said that "love is blind." Sometimes, one cannot see what the "lover" is really doing until it is too late and the poison of hurt has taken hold. Thank you for sharing, Sherry. Love and peace. Regis
