The body that you see when looking at me
Is not the person that I really am
The body is no more than a container
A place for my soul to reside.
The body is made from a wonderful blueprint
But my body is not who I am
It is a mechanism that maintains life
It is the clothing around my spirit
I am the essence of all things good
I understand love, untainted by the world
I am beautiful because beauty is in the mind
My body is merely a home in which I live
My body ages with the years
But inside I’m still spry and full of vigor
My body aches with pain and fails me
My spirit senses no pain
One day the clothing wrapped around my soul
Will fade beneath the ground
But I will continue to be
Because I am not my body..
this inspires
Fascinating; interesting; intuitive - outstanding!!
Best wishes,

fruitful insight and fluid flow to this poem ...
Must be honest though, the mind ain't what first attracts me..
I kinda like the femanimals wrapping...
Take care,
