My God, I ask you from my heart
Does anybody care?
No funeral, no announcement seen
No word found anywhere!

Murdered, slaughtered so savagely
Didn't make hometown news
Not one word of her death or life
Girl murdered, paid her dues

Mother died with her unborn child
Two precious lives are gone
No accident, no suicide
To violence she was drawn

Young girl murdered, no one knows why
Run down while in her prime
No news in the local paper
No word about this crime

Ran over once and then again,
Again, again, again
A crime of passion brought her down
Death to her child within

This young girl was so full of life
Her laughter filled the air
Three little children now alone
No mother for their care

A tragedy for all involved
A town that did not care
No honor for this child of God
Could be found anywhere

This is a Community injustice

Thoughts of Kim still haunt my memory
