JESUS REALLY IS THE REASON

The economy is tough, many are without

Prayers are often praises we shout

Many are contemplating how to make ends meet

A Christmas, catalogue will make us weep

Happiness seems far few and in between

No money for presents, no gifts on the scene

Christmas is not about what you receive

Jesus is the gift and love is what He brings

Hope, grace and mercy too, is what

Christmas should mean to me and you

We commercialized Christmas with packages galore

Our families don’t see Jesus they just want more

Jesus hasn’t left us no matter what they say

He’s waiting on us to simplify His day

Jesus is the gift; His birth was the plan

Salvation came to earth don’t you understand?

If gifts you cannot give for this Holiday Season

Give the Gift of Jesus Christ

He really is the reason.
