The bowing to the inevitable. Friendship versus desire.
Place your hands on the bar! Was the directive. Interpretation at first – wholly subjective. Once clarified, the body reacted - Vaya con Dios! – wantonly impacted. A clever ruse? Or a mental bend? Passion the muse – Covet a friend? Get a grip! - A self instruct. Lost your mind! - A defense construct. Protect! With a humorous quip. Dig deep! Forego the mind trip. Deny the want! Manage the greed! Resist the angst! Control the need! Preservation now forfeit - I await our time. Sensibility lost - Your crime or mine?
