All Out I’m all out; Out of words, out of tears- Out of thoughts of why- of all the tragic happenings Through out the years I’m all out; Out of ways, out of places to turn- Out of soft and gentle voice- I’m out of ways to cope, and the truth is beginning to really burn I’m all out; Out of patience, out of time- Out of expecting better- yet needing more- Out of pleasure for purpose, I’m out of need for living in a world that never rhymes I’m out of sync; Out of warmth, All for me lies cold- Take the bareness of the pastures of hope- And ripen them with colors so bold I’m all out; Out of tears; I’m all out of words- I’m all out of silence, and fears- Rise up; Rise up from the darkness- Rise up from the pain- Rise up and dry the tears- For unless something changes, Tomorrow will bring more of The same © Lisa Hilbers November 7, 2009

WOW!!! I guess we all feel this way sometimes, but I have to believe that God wants us to be happy and because of that belief I also have to believe that things will get better even when they are at the lowest tide. Well stated write.

Me too, Lisa and I am all out of nice, to boot. It amazes me how so many people just don't get it. It takes so little to be kind yet so many never even try. Sigh...I suppose I am glad to be approaching my golden years instead of just starting out on my life's journey. Well written, Lisa, and a pleasure to read you again.
