Wings of Time and Memories
Memories and a whispering voice
approach me through the wings of traveling time.
Like a dove's white feathers gliding across the stillness of a pond.

Its silver streams of light glisten in the moonlight.
I hear the song that once filled my mind with thought,
that once made me drown in your love.
A glimpse of you and what you have meant to me.
Your voice so soft and meaningful...
Now the wings of traveling time close in and blow away
leaving only reality behind.

Time and memories do come into our thoughts daily. Precious memories are there to stay always with us. Once I was happy, but now I seem lost. Trying to be in my best frame of mind always, but it is so hard. This poem helped me put things into perspective though.

Epiphany by Gary Stephens

“We’re going to use nine megaton warheads in space and we’re not sure they’re large enough to be effective. Why would you even consider using kiloton-range surface-to-air warheads as back-up?” The answer was succinct. “Because they’re all we have.”
