Oxeye Maids A splash of daisies A gift from the Creator And Mother Nature In behind my home On the side of the mountain A bevy of oxeyes They appeared one day Seemingly out of nowhere Now grace the landscape Such pretty daisies She loves me she loves me not Swaying in the breeze © Regis Auffray

AHHH...WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS SUMMER THAT INSPIRES GREAT Q'S LIKE THESE. MY MOMS NICKNAME WAS, DAISY. HER MOM'S NICK NAME WAS, BUTTERFLY. AND SHE OFTEN TALKED ABOUT THE CONNECTION OF THE BUTTERFLY AND HER DAISY. THIS SHARING TOOK ME BACK THERE...AND I AM ALMOST 80 SO YOU KNOW THAT WAS SOME TIME AGO. IT'S AMAZING HOW A POET NEVER KNOWS HOW HIS WORK WILL AFFECT THE READER. ENJOYED, THANK YOU, REGIS. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

Often overlooked, the Daisy is one of the most widespread flowers on the North American continent. I think the reason for the increase in their number is all the rain the Northwest has been getting.
