I'm not 007, Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise,
I'm not handsome or wealthy or wise,
but I'm the best thing since they invented sliced bread,
from the look in my sweet darling's eyes,
To the rest of the world, I'm nobody great,
just an ordinary man on the street,
but to her I'm a hero, the best of the bold,
unaccustomed to fear or defeat,
Through her rose coloured glasses I'm a man among men,
a valiant righter of wrongs,
a slayer of dragons, defending the weak,
honest and forthright and strong,
If God would but grant me one wish, it would be,
that I could be nearly so kind,
I'd be the man that she thinks that I am,
the hero she sees in her mind,
I'd be her knight on a thoroughbred stead
defending her life and her honour,
preventing the woes of a desperate world
ever from weighing upon her,
Yes I'd charge the tilt or the high castle walls
determined to win or to fall,
I'll be whatever she wants me to be,
because without her, I'm nothing at all.

A different way to look at making a tribute to her.
I wish every poet has someone that they can count on like you and I have to carry us on through life as though we were as you wrote, "better than sliced bread."
