From yet another good friend ... ... 'THE WISE MAN LOOKS AHEAD...' PROVERBS 14:8 TLB
Design the life you want and your world will change! Here are three principles that will help you do it.
1)Understand that God wants you to succeed. Give up the mistaken idea that this earthly life has no value. God delights in our success, what parent wouldn't? 'What is success anyway?' you ask. It's the progressive achievement of a God-given goal, resulting in feeling good about your life.
Listen: 'Carefully follow the terms of this covenant, so that you may prosper in everything you do' (Deuteronomy 29:9 NIV).
2)Consult God, then set definite goals. Solomon says, 'We should make plans - counting on God to direct us' (Proverbs 16:9 TLB). If you're constantly caving in to stress and confusion, you may be on the wrong track. Go back and check with God! It's His will for you to succeed in these six areas:1) spiritual 2) family 3) physical 4) mental 5) social 6)financial.
3)Invest in yourself. Listen: 'Though it cost all you have, get understanding' (Proverbs 4:7 NIV). If you're willing to spend money in a fine restaurant but not on good books, your future's already determined. The first book you need to invest in is a Bible. John writes: 'and the Word was God' (John 1:1). Each time you deposit God's Word within you, you're depositing more of God. Think how that affects every area of your life!Cultivate a teachable spirit.
Listen: 'Let the wise listen and add to their learning' (Proverbs 1:5 NIV). Go ahead: design the life you want. Why? Because only you can!
No doubt here my sister on everything I just read. It is exactly what I needed not from a selfish standpoint, of course, but from a standpoint to where I can deal with people always trying to pull me down, especially financially. Broke folks can give money to help others, and everything costs money, even freedom and time on the outside are determined by the tool of money. The trick is not to become money's tool.

In addition to consulting god, it would be more prudent to consult the concerned person for the ailment besetting you because that person can be assumed to be the god for that purpose. God wants you to succeed is good for remaining in a positive frame of mind but there are many people who slog for a lifetime without achieving commercial success. Invest in yourself is absolutely true because the person who does not read good books has no advantage over the person who cannot read them.
Because we have an opportunity to choose our attitude and focus our intentions in the present moment, the world and our own personal lives are a reflection of our thoughts. It is our 360 degree review on how we think. Put simply, our job is to fully
