The Greatest Miracle...

What is the greastest miracle of all?

A baby’s mind, body,  heart and soul are innocent and pure.

A baby’s love is freely given.

A baby represents the freedom of hope, love, and happiness. During my nine months of pregnancy thoughts ran through my mind: I wonder what you will look like, will you have your daddy’s dimples, how it will feel to cuddle you in my arms, the physical changes that will take place each month. There is so much I don’t know, and yet I already know that I will love you with all my heart. Pregnancy starts out like the flutter of a butterfly’s wings … and I smile as my heart fills up with love and joy, because I know my son or daughter is moving around inside of me. I can’t wait to see you, to kiss you, to hold you in my arms … to let you know that you’ll always be safe and loved with me. I can’t wait to be your mommies, to sing you a lullaby, rock you to sleep, or watch your little hand as you hold my finger for security, feeling safe as I am by your side. I’m so glad you’re here, so I can give you all the love in my heart that I’ve been waiting to share with you.

One minute you’re awake, and the next minute you’re sound asleep. When you’re asleep…what are you dreaming about? My dreams are about my children and my husband, whom I love with all my heart and soul. I want to be able to provide my children with everything they’ll ever want and need. All I need is to see the smiles on their faces. Their smiles of joy give me all I need.

Life is meaningless if you can’t share it with the ones you love. The bond between mother and child is stronger than anything on the face of this earth. It’s everlasting. A child’s love for his parents lasts eternally. I never knew that a child would be capable of opening my eyes to see the world in a whole different light. I never knew that a child could show me how to live my childhood all over again. When you say “mommy,” my heart melts. One day you’ll leave my arms when you learn how to crawl, and you’ll explore the world around you. Then you’ll come back to me, so I can take care of you, to love you, and to make all your worries and booboos go away.

One day my baby will grow up and I will have to let my child go to explore the world on their own, but my children will always love me and carry my love and memories in his heart forever.

Very happy to see the thoughts - I have tried to restructure it a bit as below:

Greatest miracle of all is this baby in my hand
He is the epitome of hope, love and happiness
You came like the flutter of a butterfly’s wings
And for nine months you engrossed me in wonder

How shall you look like with my big nose or his long ears
How it may feel to cuddle you in my arms
And what all changes you shall bring forth in me
It all happens without my knowledge on your whisper

I smile as each day passes in delight so deep
As I know my son is kicking inside in high spirits
It’s a long wait to see you, to kiss you
And to hold you in arms safe and secure in my love

It makes me too glad to see you in my arms
To be your side to lend my fingers and to sing a lullaby
To share all the love in my heart I have waited nine months
With hopes, dreams and joy to make you the miracle of my life

As you kick and piss around I watch but then
You takes to sleep all of a sudden and for long
What do you dream as you smile in your sleep
Like I dreamt of you, my kids and your father
All of them I love with all my heart and soul
And I strive to see a smile always on their faces

Their smiles of joy give me all I need to make my life
All meaning of life I see in the sharing of my joy
And with you my bond is as great a miracle as you are
Nothing divine here on the face of earth beyond our love
