Serving as Poet in Residence at BrainMeta.com was essentially a nightmare two years long, and I thank God it's over. Now I am called "Poet in Residence Emeritus," the actual meaning of which is that I am no longer daily shat upon by sadistic fools. Only AuthorsDen for me now, for such days as might be left me
Transcendental Sonnet #1153:
To a Bad Poet Who Called Me a "Twit"
M. W (no dot) B.
Dissolve a Valium under the tongue
Only as prescribed as I have described
The medication works faster that way
Under that tongue which these sonnets have sung
That tongue which some would wish were cut away
And I be shut away without it then
Yet shut and silent still I have my pen
So if I offend you what should you do?
Just leave me alone my skin and my bone
Now only strive to stay alive tonight
I do you no harm nor can I get warm
But if you do read and if you do look
That is if you dare I have taken care
To grant your long-sought fame here in my book
This is a cute write...I've been called worse than a twit..I see it bothered you almost as much as it did me!
Keep writing! and the names will grow with intensity! That's when you know you're getting your messages across! *grin*
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.

Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
I love you Steven!
