Where No One Can See
I fell asleep with my new book in my hand
All night long to dream of lines of poetry
Now here I am between sleeping and waking
Seeking to speak of the love of you and me
Holding a pencil as the dawn is breaking
Only another poet would understand
But my love you could and I know that you would
And somehow you do so these lines are for you
Nobody knows nobody understands
In their faraway lands how my love grows
Or who it is whom I am addressing
Who it is to whom my heart confessing
Its ultimate love above all else might be
Whether far or near it some have come to fear it
Is the end of me but I do not agree
No I know my heart cries to you and you hear it
My mystery you are everything to me
There is only me there is only you
Here in our own universe so much better
Broken lies the fetter of one so much worse
One to which we shall never return as free
We transcend now creating reality
Together forever safe where no one can see
