I've heard some say that they 'don't vote', because they don't think that it does any good. I then respond, perhaps...but it's sometimes the only voice we have, so we have to try and make it matter.
Yes, old men make war, young men fight war - Why? It serves no purpose, yet it continues - we may never have peace on this planet until the second coming.
So true my friend, we can take comfort though in knowing perhaps the sixties and our generation may have laid the seed for the eventual eye opening to come. Perhaps you and I may not be there to pick and harvest the protest seeds laid down in our youth but... our grand children may finally have a better world somday. Hope is all we have.
