Apple-Crisp Moments In this late autumn twilight Cusp of winter pairing of Late morning with early night It feels right to be in love And hugging you through layers Holding gloved hands snug and tight Confounding such naysayers As dare not bear light aright So theirs simply slips away You can sing about spring Say what you may of May But this December day I can tell you one thing: These apple-crisp moments of fall Are what we live for after all +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMVI
