When I was shallower and sunnier Mocking old poets seemed much funnier And yet the joke is on you (if you do) As it was once on me Because I know how to do (but do you?) A few things you might never understand As some reading agree
I will be around if you need a hand And I am not offended (Anymore) What you started I ended (At your door) Poetry is my neighborhood my town You will never shut me up nor shut me down
