Here We Are
We are kept from knowing our future quite
Simply because it never happens yet
We remember what happens (and what might
Have been seems even harder to forget)
And for the moment which time will allow
We live all we can in what we call now
So here we are shaken thrown together:
To find ourselves in each other somehow
Through trial trouble terrible weather
But also the shining fortunate day
To make our lives of whatever comes by
We put our heads together so to say
And bridge the gap between us you and I
Nor would I have it any other way
