My poems are not about anything
What I like to say about them is they
Do not represent but they simply are
(Although not about anything) something
Like crossword puzzles in The New York Times
They are puzzled over from near to far
Frustrating some entertaining some more
I like to try out unusual rhymes
Before the tide of time can wash away
These strings of syllables counted and squared
By which I am always asking what for
And why (as I question reality)
No one has answered and why no one cared
But maybe one will eventually

but ahhh...it was on that breeze...
the one that stole the heart of summers love..
the brisk taste of your fortitudes stength, You're Unique
