If my eyes should open what would they find?
Until I have opened them I stay blind
If I want to live at the tip of the spear
And to feel how sharp and how cool it can be
I will have to let go of all but one fear
And that is the fear of disappointing me
It will have to be now and has to be here
That I open at least two eyes out of three
Is it the third eye which as illusions die
Is opened like the petals of the lotus?
Whatever it is before it has gone by
I will become all eyes and I will notice
Now as the focal point of eternity
And how what I once thought too far was too near
So I open at least two eyes out of three
And I see that I am now and it is here
That I will create my own reality
In blazing new brilliance as old shadows clear
And I feel how sharp and how cool it can be
If I want to live at the tip of the spear
Beyond pain and pleasure blessing and sin
Paradise is found without from within
