Something Out There The universe is beginning to look A lot more interesting now than what We used to think of as the way it was As all the laws of physics we once took For granted are turned inside out because Though we thought we thought a lot about it Yesterday when we thought less than we knew Today we know we knew less than we thought The universe keeps surprising those who Think they have it figured out but who miss The universal heartbeat pulsing through All even them since it feels like a kiss A kiss beyond any doubt about it And sometimes we fear some things being true Like that something out there we feel in here The common name we have for it is love And because hate is only love gone bad The opposite of love we know as fear Tingling along the shadowed edges of Us where what is known and what is not known Contend and conspire to leave us alone Without knowing anything only this Fear is the feeling which can drive us mad But we feel love's heartbeat within our own Though we hesitated to admit it Yesterday when we thought less than we knew Today we know we knew less than we thought There is an it to get and we get it I think we always got it but forgot There is something out there we feel in here +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMX
