"...we had to know someday"

Poem Artwork

that kind of friends

Psychosis is no joke is far too serious for me
In my paranoid schizophrenic bipolarity
(Type 1) begun forever ago for never ending

But you might smile awhile to know me and be befriending
Me even how I am now even though now and again
A little mad you had to know though always even then
Just wanting to be happy just like you get by get through
The bad times to the good and to be understood when you
Then see me from another point of view though you might see
How I am now but even so you see how we might be
That kind of friends that never ends for in nor out of mind

For those who have it all or chose to leave it all behind
Or who got left who are bereft of something anyway
To be the few we always knew we had to know someday
