If I were something for the sky And I could fly would you with me Or were you someone of the sea Under the water ought we try For wonders of liquidity There in the swim as him and her See as it were how we could be By sea or sky where you and I Could be us as we would we were? And understood I would we should Embrace the opportunity If I were something for the sky Or were you someone of the sea For now though we have only this Nor sky nor sea this lonely kiss All after all we have need of When all then we have left is love Embracing you embracing me +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMXII
