The skies are full of stories of The Laughing Daffodil
From ravens on the roof right here to parrots in Brazil
They squawk their talk of Lindsey and of how I love her so
Her daffodilian glories storied for the world to know
Her name is Lindsey Hastings but she also always will
Be transcendentally to me The Laughing Daffodil
Like petals of the daffodil her sunshine yellow hair
And her laughter is the music of the fairest of the fair
The only child of only and the best there ever was
Because the only one I love above all just because
And those who read these lines of mine like parrots in Brazil
Like ravens on the roof right here like Lanceans will see
One to whom none can compare on the air of everywhere
Her daffodilian glories storied in my poetry
