Though slow the dugong never takes too long
Nor like a wizard ever late to be
For like the racing rat each pace its place
Each goes with what it knows whatever grace
It has evolved with or has made its own
And how the dugong has is his alone

The cheetah is unbeatable for speed
As pig or human for their need for greed
Though the cheetah could swim those other two
Except for a few would rather not do
Anything except what they are paid to
Treats receipts or fame our name in Who's Who

But a dugong going slow goes knowing
No need for greed nor speed so goes showing
No flurry of a hurry going free
The scurry and the worry of the pig
Or human for the petty nor the big
Disappoints the dugong daily to see

I saw pigs swimming in a magazine
Some of us have swum so know what I mean
When I say who may know just what to do
Is the dugong doing what he must who
I trust to know these waters as he ought
Recall what the rest of us all forgot

Though slow the dugong never takes too long
Nor do I who sang you The Dugong Song

Kinda like a Manatee in slow motion.
We all need that pace - we can learn much from that race.
Well done!

Oh, to be more like a dugong and go at our own speed and not worry knowing where we are going.

Love ya!

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!

Next Arrivals by Robin Ouzman Hislop

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
