All through our lives we wonder more and more Until we forget what we were wondering for Understanding more than we did before Remembering in November or December How very temporary all of this And what really mattered was that wonderful kiss That smiling baby that hopeful maybe When you wonder long enough you understand then Remembering when to forget again Constructively forgiving retroactively But better that be soon than come too late Before we wander toward an unwonderful fate Blundering misunderstand how it goes That we get it or not now but nobody knows Existence is so existential but Better to be than not to be no matter what So on I go though I may never know Remembering smiling babies hopeful maybes That wonderful kiss and how temporary this +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMXIII
