Asking with an open mind
Discussing me with myself I find
How we and me too agree
All three of us who know now what to do

We as three of the ones who
Somehow become the best we can be
Some of the happiest too
Now after a lifetime of mistakes

We strangers in an ever stranger land
No strangers to each other understand

How we found out what it takes
Who mind what gives to find what outlives
As myself and I and me
Not booking ahead nor looking behind

Not for then for now is when
We live it up now to live down then
For as far as we can see
Smoking pot and writing poetry

Asking with an open mind
Answering in kind

The trouble with an open mind is that everything falls out.
Keep on tokin' and writin'.

smoking pot releases inhibitions of the mind making you more creative. the brain of a constant smoker is likened to schizophrenics. still, i would try one, just to compare the outcome of poetry.

It's always good to self-examine, and do evaluation of self; but I don't know about smoking pot. I've never smoked pot, and probably never will.

Smoking pot opens the mind to much self-examination wasted on the young and a productive life.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
