I

The fearful can give you an earful
And do those who chose to be behind
So angry out though inside tearful

What matters not comes over the mind
Even the mind of the mindful too
Can become overcome and then some

But fear is a lie and love is true
Living truly we can overcome
By loving us now as how we do

Daring to love by caring to live
Love is insisting on being who
Resists the twists of the negative

Funhouse mirrors of fear become clear
When we see their lies then with our eyes
Open to love and hoping to rise

Seeing clearly being now and here
Answering the questioning of fear

A big heavy dog being frisky
Would seem to be a good thing to me
Jumping up and down if heavily
Marisol in a good mood like this

Being in her way would be risky
Though so I stay a little away
But seeing how glad she is to be
A mood like this is too good to miss

Though any day is good anyway
Being here now seeing her so free
I too am glad to be as I see
Marisol in a good mood today

III

Back in the Bronze Age frustrated old men
Not knowing what they could not understand
Who thought they should explain it all away
Wrote their bitter books they said by the hand
Of God which seems odd to me anyway

They did this without us having our say
Never asked any but wrote many when
Should anyone doubt then they would be out
Of the tribe because some scribe had no doubt
That this was the word of God they had heard

And everyone had to do what they said
Or if not be stoned until they were dead
For this was the law enforced by the awe
Of not understanding the wonder of
Understanding or the wonder of love

Frustrated old men did this to us then
Back in the Bronze Age now at it again

IV

Some say I believe in nothing
But I believe in everything
All at once on a carousel
Never mind forever nor hell
As round and round we go I know
Here I am now so here I go
Living dying rising again
Believing then myself now when
I am and do as who at the
Lancean Specificity

She Intrigues Me, Revelations Of Love by Jon Willey

If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.

Omega Factor by John Henning

Take some time to walk outside of your own mind and into another, walk slowly and carefully; the mind that you step on might be your own.
