This part in my hair is simply where It is as it has been so long Now never bereft of a part there left Not right somehow right looks wrong Way round reflected round the wrong way I could part it the other way but The roots still have a will so strong That though surprised they could rise up and heft It leftward to have their say Rooted not in what will be but was As they and so many are anyway They might be right it may as well stay Unheft (and of course uncut) As it is and was to do as it does Because it looks simply there Left right way round where it is today Though a triviality Even so a part of me Steven Curtis Lance
