get well Alexander de Juan

I

Apart
We are together
As but

A part
Though apart whether
Or not

We know
What seen from afar
We see

And so
We know what we are
To be

Soon and
We see what we mean
As one

Moon and
Stars as ours between
The sun

Arcing
A spark connects us
To shine

Sparking
The dark reflects us
Divine

The ends
Of the sky join hands
Tonight

For friends
From faraway lands
Who write

Big dogs large dogs heavy dogs are
Arf-arfully glad to get this far
Out of town and into renown
Dogs of the desert known up and down

Marisol and Bowser are who
Are doggedly two to dogly do
To any what many wonder
Who wonder too but are understood

Rising above then from under
Dogs who mean well two dogs who are good
Dogly dogs to doggedly be
Arf-arf-arfully good friends to me

Big dogs large dogs heavy dogs know
How I am mad but are glad to go
With me to go mad doggedly
To dogly get me now having got

Out of town and no matter what
Into what is but out of is not
For then again forever is but
Now as what we never forgot

Big dogs large dogs heavy dogs are
Arf-arfully glad to get this far

III

Any of many loved and lost who
Lived through it as you and I try to
Could tell us what we already know
But is good to know though even so
How life goes on with or without us
Now but there is no doubt about us
We are supposed to be here and here
We are somehow and this much is clear

So since we are we might as well be
Aware of each other you and me
Compare notes and keep in touch as much
As we can when having come through such
Things as maybe only we can see
In each other brother-sisterly
Traces in the faces of any
Of many of any of many

Loved and lost but beginning to win
Loved now what was lost then found again
