My organized religion turned out to be
More trouble than it was worth for me
I always wondered but then I understood

Got rid of what did more harm than good
Learned about enlightenment but not that way
Not having been frightened anyway
By heaven or hell thought I might as well go
On to grow disorganizedly

Not above nor below but by love to know
Without it about the light within
That knows me and shows me the way out is in

I always wanted enlightenment
So haunted by curiosity I went
As I was meant to sent to be free
To understand what love is ultimately
Enlightened by curiosity

When I walk the woods, I am at peace. When I walk barefoot along the shore............all of what some do not see, feel, or anything. My religion is nature.

Love ya!

The road to freedom and enlightenment is taking time to study and learn. Wasting time on rituals and listening to so-called interpreters of the Bible tell you what is wrong with your life and what you need to do in order to find eternal life (away from this miserable life?) Takes one away from living in reality.

Good for you. Our world needs more free thinkers. Religion indeed does more harm than good.
