Poem Artwork

I fell down through a crack
In society
And I never got back
To the bourgeoisie

Sadly I had to be badly mistaken
I had to go mad before I could awaken

Forgotten but not gone
Like what might have been
Having been somebody
Nobody again
But nobody went on

All the way down the only way out was in
If I had asked me now I would have told me then

Somebody meant to
But went mad when by chance
Nobody could do
It nobody but me

There's a song here somewhere… "Hey Mr. nobody…" But I'll leave that up to the songwriters of this world.

We are all somebodies. The cracks of society are manmade as is society itself. You've fallen through an artificial looking glass. You are still here and so am I.

Play with your life, Steven! It is so fleeting, my friend! Let them call us mad. Ask them to say, "mad", backwards!! I'm having too much of a good time inside this poem.

Love ya!

Jane
