Thinking backwardly while upside down
Was how I thought back in my hometown
About having found my place in space
But out of time I was out of place
Going through homelessness broke the spell
Slowly going crazily through hell
Knowing where I belonged after all
Was nowhere really after the fall
Thinking about it all the way there
I thought where I was I might as well
Be there because I was anyway
As opposed to my not existing
Through the many places I would be
Persisting and yet not insisting
Having learned to care and not to care
To go with the flow unresisting
Because from out of nowhere I knew
It would get better from getting worse
How what I would do could be for you
From me from across the universe
Anyplace in space then timelessly
Of many places a place for me
Now in a Hi-Desert hideaway
Here in the end I might as well stay
On my way to transcend I can tell
I belong nowhere but everywhere
