You sent me a drawing you drew
Of you as a water nymph in blue
When you were a kid by the sea
In Cyprus then you sent it to me
And I could almost feel the sun
You added to it when it was done
When I realized with a start
You somehow were now part of my heart
I wish you would do it again
Because somewhere between now and then
I lost it along with my mind
And a water nymph is hard to find
Though that was a long time ago
You are still a water nymph I know
and Franziska drew me a new water nymph

A thought-provoking poem that is so dear to yourself.
