At the border of my disorder
That German Lutheran sense of order
Is how I know not to go too far
As then a rising now a falling star
Something to think about at the brink
When Alles in Ordnung is what I think
So I step back to figure it out
And when that stubbornness you hear about
Kicks in it becomes like destiny
To stick around then for the rest of me
As suggested by the universe
Requesting I do recognizably
In a voice I would know anywhere
To do better for my having done worse
Getting to be the best that I can
At doing what I can ultimately
Being surprisingly stubbornly
For having had that German Lutheran
Link out there at the brink of despair
To be better for my having been there
So Gott sei Dank whoever you are
That sense of order never goes away
Gott sei Dank that it got me this far
Disordered but orderly anyway
What may not be theological
But maybe may not be illogical
Ron
He had such a kind heart and a love for the Lord.
As my primary mentor, he taught me much about life.
I still talk about him often, he had a stubborn side too.
It showed when he was around his family, they knew him too well.
However, he matured into an old softy, thoughtful and kind.
But they recalled his old persona, and did not accept his new ways.
I felt sorry for them for they miss out on many Wonderful Happy Days.
He left the face of the earth over ten years ago.
I miss him and still love him so...
Amen
Love ya!
