Shine On God having misunderstood you I want to ask could you Enlighten me that I might see You as you want me to? Understandably haunting me Wondering as I do Shine on me by the light come true Before my hope is gone Shine through the each of everyone A part and not apart Reach through us all into my heart That I too might shine on God show me though the dark is strong Your light is stronger yet The light that means that I might just Mean more than mortal dust You understood me all along Though sometimes I forget Steven Curtis Lance

This would make a fabulous hymn! Yes, He knew us before we were born. We all forget now and then but then He gives us a little nudge.
