The Meaning Between Now and Then
I see a lot to live about
Up to and down too before life gives out
Anyway someday maybe soon
So I might as well hang on to see what
Comes about from my living out
Of what the universe is giving out
For better or worse but better than not
To make the most of what I got
Making the most of the sun and the moon
And the faraway stars I see
The about to be is not without me
The question is answered within
Because the answer was always to be
Growing to know from having been
To be timely albeit timelessly
The meaning between now and then

It does appear that we return to the kind of helplessness and acceptance that we had during our first year of life before we die. Unless it comes early without any warning.
