Seeing is Believing Being us today Seeing the universe rhyming Farce or tragedy Being a matter of timing Timely timelessly Can be a terrifying thing But clarifying As it comes true and time comes due As the mystery Of time turns into history We are turning too Returning to reality As we turn back from The brink of unreality Through the crack to see There has to be a better way As we overcome Our fear of what is happening After all the fuss And fury of absurdity Seeing is freeing Us from being farcically Seeing us being Who we were always meant to be As we are seeing Hope is opening our eyes now Seeing better than Bitter authoritarian Trickery somehow Being better as love knows how Believing we can Seeing our fear is leaving us Being us again Seeing is believing in us Steven Curtis Lance
