for Marisol

The act of death is a fact of life
When it comes true it cuts through like a knife
Cuts between to be and not to be
Between what we have seen and who knows what

But in that moment maybe to see
The act of death as a fact of life that
Means life goes on then ultimately

Who knows what goes on but I want to know
If they go on going when they go
Knowing soon enough no need to worry
About what I may find out someday

Let it come but not be in a hurry
Let me go on going anyway
Knowing enough to believe I will then

Knowing enough for now until then
I have enough to think about today
Without thinking about this again
On the Eve of the Eve of Christmas Day

I try not to think about it but
Marisol went on to find out today
With Bowser and me in the kitchen

Where a fact of life like a knife has cut
And taken my dog Marisol away

This poem will help you release the pain you feel from the loss of your faithful companion, Marisol. I know that Bowser feels it too. So what you are writing for the both of you.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
