God knew, ahead of time, I was going to need a

supernatural friend. God knew, I was fatherless,

He became my father.

God knew, I was going to be lonely and scared,

so He walked with me in the dark. 

God knew, I would make mistakes and fall down.

He showed up with his understanding hand to help 

me back to my feet.

God knew, I was cold and hungry,

He sent me a warm blanket and food.

God sent dreams to me to prepare me to give me

hope to protect me to show  He loved me too.

God knew, I would cry so He waited until the time was

right before He took Ma away.

God knew, I needed His embrace of comfort  around

 me everyday.
